I am going to the boneyard tomorrow to get the front spindles and rear axles for my 5-lug conversion. I would like to avoid carrying 50lbs of tools with me, so if someone could help me narrow down what size wrenches I will need. I will be taking the spindle and hub assys, and two rear Ranger axles.
I know I will need my dead-blow hammer and pliers and dykes (for cotter pins).
I need to know what size the following nuts are:
Tie-rod nut (on spindle)
Lower Ball joint nut
spindle to strut bolt and nut, both sizes
Caliper bolts
banjo bolts
I think that's it for the front....on to the rear:
Diff cover bolts
center diff pin bolt
Any help would be great. I think I will need a 13mm and an 8mm for the rear, and I think it's 15/16, 15mm, 11/16, and 7/8 up front...but I am not 100% sure.
