I have heard many people make a special mod to their ebrake handle, welding and what not. Here is what I have, 96 axles, with 96-98 rear disc setup. I am going to go get the e brake lines I need from a FRPP dealership. I am curious if I need to mod my ebrake handle? I am also wondering if I need to worry about the brackets not working with the axle housing because it is the stock housing but longer axles and rear disc setup from that 96-98? or is the housing the same on the sn95 as the foxes? thanks in advance. Almost done putting this together and just need a few small bits and pieces (and front tires).

after writing this I did find one post that explains it better, been searching for awhile now. I guess no matter what I am going to have to modify the handle which isn't a problem from what I have seen. I am more curious now with the brackets not fitting for whatever reason. Maybe I am just being paranoid.

Yes you have to mod your brake handle, its no big deal and you can find the instructions on the Ford Racing web site under the M2300K Cobra Brake Kit. As long as you used parts from the rear of 94-98 you will be fine the axle housing is the same width as the stock Fox, the Brackets make up the extra width thus the 3/4" longer axles. Good Luck with your project!

thanks, I thought I would be ok but I just don't want to get down to taking it all apart only to put it back together again as a 4lug LOL

No Problem, you are ok as long as your parts came from a 94-98 for the rear. Make sure the Caliper Brackets and the Anti-moan Brackets come from the same car though because sometimes they will not match up with each other.
