ok i was going to order my tubro kit but starting to think that a 5lug swap with brake upgrades would be the better bet i have some questions and concerns.
Ok first off itsa 87 mustang gt, goal and usage = street and strip car not used much only in summer and weekends, want to upgrade rear brakes to disc, beef the rear end, and possibley upgrade the front brakes. all while being able to fit a 15 inch rim in rear for slicks and run skinnies up front. i was looking at a kit from SSBC http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/products/detail/679/?make=Ford&model=Mustang&year=1987 what do u think of this kit? seems like thats all i would need minus the wheels tires and could upgrade the front brakes at a later time. is there anything that this kit is missing from the information provideded by there site? if the kit is a go i was planning on visting moser to order a set of quality parts to beef the rear end. i really dont think that the axles provided in this kit will take whats planned for the car. anyway while im on the note what would it take to stuff a set of 31 splines in a stock 8.8? or should i just order the kit from summit along with this 5 lug kit and call it a day?http://store.summitracing.com/partd...M-CSUM20001&N=700+4294763517+115&autoview=sku keep in mind the most important thing that i want out of all this is to be able to run a 15 inch wheel for slicks and the skinnies up front sorry for the length but im paraniode(sp) about crap like this.
