Ahh, i understand, you just have to be a bit more specific because as i said the 93 cobra itself is 4 lug. And the 93 cobra R is not widely referred to at all.

I think i payed $275 for 5 lug 31 spline moser axles with 3 inch studs.
If you aren't changing the diff you'll need the 28 spline axles. Looks like at summit you are going to pay anywhere from $200-$300

I found a set of 5 lug 28 spline rear axles with studs, and wheel bearings and seals summit part number SAG-EV80-28. Im getting the kit from northraecar.com and getting new springs, can i put the disc brakes in the rear with the 5-lug and upgrade the master cylinder, and leave the four lug in the fron for now?

i decided to get the 5 lug kit stuff from northracecars. the axles, brackets, and hardware. the calipers are cheap at the local junkyards. the only real thing that is left is the soft lines, e brake cables and rotors. it will be close to 550 when i get done. not bad for a complete kit. i also got the 95 chrome cobra r's with bfg g-force t/a kd 275/40/17. i did alot of measuring and it will fit. i got them from a buddy. all the stuff was brand new and i got it for 350....what a deal!

also i found the spindles but i dont have matching front rims yet so i will just wait. i want to do the cobra front calipers and brakes too but that will be a little while yet.

for the best instructions on the rear conversion, use the instructions provided on the northracecar website. they are very helpfull and also give you a parts list.

Getting ready to wrap up the rear end here soon. Waiting for parts from northracecar.com, Mac performance and a set of rear axles. I am also going with the cobra fron calipers and the 13" rotors. Where would be the best place to get a set of drilled/slotted rotors for the rear? Ill do the front later.

Ebay, has drilled/slotted brembo's, cheap. I'll assume companies buy them from brembo, then drill and slot them on a CNC machine.

And if the "mac" part you are waiting for is a rear end cover, because it is $50 cheaper than the T/A, you should of spent the extra $50. I Friggen HATE my mac rear end cover.
If this is what you bought, make sure to overload every bolt with silicone, trust me if you don't fluid will leak. And DO NOT use the gasket.

The Mac parts that i ordered were the control arm bushings for thier control arms. Just need to get my rear axles and wheel bearings and seals with my springs and i can put it back in.

I picked up a pair of SN95 Axles, i got a set of northracecars.com rackets and cannot use them with my SN95 axles, so i ave to get a set of Cobra caliper brackets that mount to the axle tube, with the SN95 axles on my 85 fox, will I be able to run a 17x9 rims in the rear? Or will I have to go 17x8?

i would just get a pair of the axles from north. you'll retain the stock track length and not have a prob with the 17x9's. the only thing you will have to look at is the inner fender and beat it in a lil. skip the sn95 route...more mods to do if your looking at the easy 5 lug

yup...but for almost the same price you can get the new axles that are hardened...i would prefer new on a part like this...imo. thats what i have done. i am about to get the rear out of the car and have it professionally redone by pauls high performance with 31 spline axles. 1.5g for the whole complete pkg.
