hey guys im debating on just buying some 5 lugs rotors for the front of my car for my 5-lug swap and want to know if fr500's will fit. i can guess and say NO i want to know if anyone has actually tried with stock 87-93 spindles and 5 lug rotors or do i have to have 94+ spindles and rotors. i have had 99gt wheels on a pevious car and had no issues. just curious about these wheels.

Not sure about those specific wheels, but generally speaking....most of the SN95 wheels will not fit on a 5-lug rotor/hub mounted on a fox spindle. That is a common upgrade, using Mark7 front rotors because they are 5-lug....but they are still a hub/rotor and the center of the hub sticks too far out through the center of the wheel.

If I were you, I would step up to SN95 spindles so you can have the hubless rotors and you will have NO issues with wheel fitment.

I put m7 rotors on my last car and as stated above and used 99 gt wheels and had no issue's that why im concerned if this is just a common misconception or is it fact.

Its Fact, very few SN Wheels will work with just the Lincoln Rotor, ones that have a center cover like the Stock Ponies usually work as in your case with the 99 GT Wheels.
