5-lug swap rear axle question(searched)

did the sn 95 here with my 275/45/17's and they were the bfg g-force kd's. only on big curb drop offs and big bumps do i rub on the fender. the inner is a great fit, and i can still use quads (although i deleted them and slod them before i measured to fix the wheel hop....DOAH!!!!!)

Its not really a good idea to take your Quads off all together.

Sure you can...if you have a GOOD set of rear upper and lower control arms. Key word in that sentence is GOOD. There are some out there that just dont cut it. Sorry :OT:

That is an Internet Myth that people Read and Believe and then just pass it on as truth! If there is ANY Give in the Bushings in the UCAs or LCAs, then there is going to be axle rotation which is going to lead to poor 60 Foot Times and or Wheel Hop, if you take away ALL the Give in the Control arms you will then proceed to tear your Torque Boxes out! All Mustangs are built within a Tolerance, 1 person MIGHT be able to get away with it on 1 car, but that by no means will stop it from happening to someone elses car.
