$500 to $550 - WHAT DO YOU THINK!!!!!!!!

just got a price from larrocos here in jersey for $500 to $550 for install of 3.73 gears, volant cai, magnaflowc/xpipe, borla cat-back, to my stang. i know i could do cai, exhaust myself, but time is an issue. what do you guys think. is that a fair price. let me know . tanks alot

good price if it includes the gears....it takes 30-45 min. to install a catback/midpipe with a lift (i did), cold air takes 30 min. if that

You also have to consider a chip or speedcal to correct for gears otherwise thats a pretty good price doesn't that include the price of the gears?

no not gears. i bought them .

That sounds reasonable to me ... that is going to be a lot of work. Regarding no time time to do the mods yourself, I completely hear ya. If I had to wait until I had a free weekend to work on my car, I would have a pile of unused parts and a bone-stock Mustang sitting in my garage (those of you w/o kids, you will see ...all in due time).

$500 and gears not included?
So lets say $100 to install exhaust (which is robbery)
that's still $400 for gear installation

thats the cai installed as well.

xpipe catback should cost around 60-100...some charge up to 150 for just exhaust but I wouldn't pay that.

CAI is something you should do yourself.

and gears shouldn't cost more than 200-250 to install..

not sure how you get 500+ out of that.

i understand you guys, but time is an issue for me. if i had some, i would do most of it myself.

When it comes to gears, you want experienced people putting them in. Do it, that is a very, very reputable shop.
