Doing a 5lug conversion soon, and trying to get together all the parts.

So far I have:
Aerostar Axles w/ 9" drums
SN-95 spindles
calipers
caliper brackets
hubs
pads

going to get ford heavy duty brake fluid, and rear dif fluid
also getting MM stainless steel brake lines
do i get these for a 87-93 or 94-95?

getting .330" spacers as well.

What else am I missing?
Any special tools required for the job?
Thanks.

master cylinder / rotors….and why are you using 9” axles and drum brakes?I’d recommend using an impact wrench for quick removal of the wheels. You’ll need 2 cotter pins as well for the ball joints. A few friends and some alcoholic beverages should make for a fun day

No, they are 8.8" axles from an aerostar. I believe the drums are 9" diameter.
Not sure, I may be wrong.

Anyway, I do have rotors, forgot to say that.

Now I wasn't going to do a master cylinder yet as I didn't think I needed it.
I plan on doing cobra brakes down the line and was going to do it with that.
But if I do need it which one should I get?

.330 spacer

Xplo, where did or are you getting your .330 spacer because I am in the process of this same upgrade. I was going to go the washer route but if I could get the spacer all the better.

thanks,
Paul

Yea, I wasn't able to find any store selling them either.

A guy on the corral [corral.net] is selling them. He had a bunch made from steel to the exact measurements needed for the 5 lug conversion.

He is selling them for $23 shipped. Check in the corral classifieds under brakes for posts about them.

This is his email: [email protected]

I just sent my money order to him so I should be getting them in the next week.
