I bought and 89 notch with 5 lug from a 98 mustang and rear from 86 svo .I need some suggestion for wheels that will look right the rims I have on it now def stick out in front to much for my liking. Should I just change one of the 5 lug setups?

Pics definitely help here. What is your current wheel that doesn't look right? Not look right on the front or rear (or both)? What spindles (I assume '98's), what rotors, calipers? What front control arms are you running?

The front end sticks out past fender. I bout new brakes and rotors 11inch I'm pretty sure drilled and slotted I just know the front 98 brakes fit the front and 86 svo fit rear caliper. I'll post the pics that I have but I'll take clearer ones.idk alot about offsets ect... my understanding is that my fronts having the 98 5lug stick out a little on each side I think 1/2 inch is what I read and the rears the gun dust cap sticks out more then normal.i dont know the width of the rims yet but what I read is that the 8inch wide will fit the front without sticking out.just trying to get possible ideas or things I might need to kno when finding some wheels that I might like....I can take more pics tomorrow let me know what I should take pictures of that will help ...

Is the side view pic a front or rear wheel?

Here is my wheels. I have spindles from a 2000 (same on 96-04). I am using a 5/16" spacer and the rims are 18x9 with a 24mm offset. Do you know if rims are OEM or aftermarket?

A couple measurements that could help us.

What is the length of the front control arm from the centerline of the two mount bushings to the center of the ball joint. It will likely be 13" or 13.75".

Second, if you can pull off one of the front wheels and measure from the mount face, where rotor touches wheel, to the outer rim lip. This will be the wheel backspace. If you measure this, measure from same mounting face to front outer rim lip. From these two numbers we can get width and offset.

While wheel is off, check back of spokes for names, logos or stampings to help tell if rims are OEM or aftermarket.
