How would one find out what kind of swap was done on my fox body. It has a five lug conversion but the numbskulls that did it left the old brake drums on and just drilled extra holes.
Can I measure something that will tell me if the just put new Axel's in or if they swapped one of the sn95 rears?
Also I'm trying to avoid pulling the axel's. I know the sn95s are longer and I'm running 310 nittos on the rear (about 11-12 inches of tire lol) and it *barely* clears the mildly massaged fender wells.

Pictures?

If he ran the drums with sn95 axles they would stick out an extra 3/4"'and half the drum shoe would be exposed. It would have to be the ranger axles.

Ranger drums are dirt cheap, so if he drilled holes in the old drum, who knows what other corners were cut

That's sort of what I was thinking. It's definitely got budget racecar written all over it, well in some places. Paired with the diy 5 lug drum kit were a set of eibach drag springs, Lakewood struts and adjustable gas shocks in the rear lol.

Also I'll get pictures of the job as soon as I can get back to the garage.

Can't tell much from that angle but looks like standard 9" drums. What exactly do you need to know? Axles?

Should be 5-lug fox lenght axles which are typically ranger/Aerostar axles and 4cyl ranger 9" drums

So they probably just swapped the axels then. That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure someone else had the same idea lol.
