That would be cool. But the 351w can be stroked out to that too and just bolts in.

The V10 can be stuffed into a fox body. I have an issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords from about 1998 that had a LX with a Triton V10. I don't remember any of the details but I will try to find that issue.

gearbanginstang Did you ever start doing this? Im working on one now. I've got the engine in, all I really have left is to hook up the computer and do the wiring for it to be running.

Gearbanginstang hasn't been online since 1/17/08. You could try sending them an email and see if they come back and can offer some pointers, but aside from that I don't really know what to suggest.

i've had this idea for a long time but never wanted to get into a project that in depth. But just for curiosity sake, does the engine fit in without modifying the fire wall or the towers?

I did that conversion, you do have a little problem finding some headers that fit, and you gotta just swap the engine mounts from an excursion (or any truck that has the 6.8) theres also turbo kits, i bout one and my 10 pumps out about 900 horsepower in my 92' fox, pro street and dirty!

I'm having trouble putting up pictures because you have to get them online and I have a correction, I put the 10 in my 95 stang, not my 92. its a 6.8 liter v10 with 2 110mm turbos running about 8psi each, its a stock block but i bored out the cylinders and put in cp carrillo pistons.

its got a viper heads adapted by john kasse racing engines, due to the fact that it was the only reasonably priced head for a 10 that could take that kinda power.
