Ford just replaced mine with a new one when I had this problem. I received my CDs back about a week or two later from Ford.

If you can see the CD that is stuck through the dust door, you might be able to grab it with some thin needle nose pliers.

Just a FYI, never use CDs with stick-on labels. The Ford Visteon radios eat those for lunch.

You could probably disassemble it if you were highly motivated.

I thought I heard of guys using a credit card to stick in there and convince the cd player to spit them out. I've never tried it though. Does the in-dash use the DIN style clips? If so, I'd cut and bend a hanger to pop that sucker out.

Mine did the same a few times here and there last year ,and started again a few months back, but more often, and also with other issues like not reading my cd for like 20 to 30 minutes, but i have since replaced it with an aftermarket deck.To get the cd's out, just grab an old cd,hit the eject button, the error code will come up,then just slide the old cd in a bit,and the cd in the player will come out.If you have all 6 slots filled, then you will have to do this 6 times. It's easy.

If that doesn't work.....you might need to cut the power to it to reset the unit.....but I'd be careful, not sure how the PATS likes you disconnecting the battery these days.

Okay I didn't try the cd trick cause I couldn't see a cd. Evidently it's stuck in between cd changes or something

Don't need to see the cd,just do what i stated in my post above, and all is well.Believe me,it works.I know, cause it did it to me.Just take an old cd,and put it in the slot without letting it go right after you hit the eject button, and pull it back out, then you should hear the stuck begin to eject like normal.
Damn,i wish we could travel threw the computer screen,i would do it for you.
It's way to eazzzzzy ,on a level of hard being 1 and easy being 10,it's a 10 for anyone.

Okey, lets make this 3 times a charm in FULL detail!
First hit the eject button.
Second choose your slot.
Third, when it gives the error code on the screen of the 6 cd player, slide an old cd into the opening without letting it go,then pull it out(if the stuck cd doesn't eject, then you didn't put the old cd in far enough).
Fourth, pull the old cd out,and the stuck cd will/should eject out.I know it works,i had to do it to 6 cd's that got stuck in my factory 6 cd player, that is where i made my descision and got an aftermarket player.
I reallyu wish i can come and help you guys...LOL!

I just tried again as you said but it didn't work for me. This all started when i change my spark plaug. Negative battery out to change my spark plugs, plug back in and start my car but I remember that I forgot to plug my mass air so I shut my car and took negative battery out so I could set my computer . After that cd never worked and just gives me cd error. It used to make lot's of noise when you reset your computer with battery off but now it don't do *****
