I just tried again as you said but it didn't work for me. This all started when i change my spark plaug. Negative battery out to change my spark plugs, plug back in and start my car but I remember that I forgot to plug my mass air so I shut my car and took negative battery out so I could set my computer . After that cd never worked and just gives me cd error. It used to make lot's of noise when you reset your computer with battery off but now it don't do *****
Mine did the same,just would make noise like it's trying to find the cd,but can't,stop it from doing so.Turn the key off,wait for a bit,then turn the key back to the acc,then try it again the way i discribed it.
It should work,i have not seen it not work.
