Should be installing a new 6 gauge aluminum bezel on Kingsford in a few days.
The following pics are before I apply some black paint to the top section and a wood grain finish.

Whatta ya guys think?

Hard to call it an alternative when you failed to remind the class where you got it from

It looks very nice, but I think they drilled the highbeam hole in the wrong spot :halo:

Don't want to say where I got it from yet, so maybe "potential alternative" would be a better wording.
I haven't installed it yet, so I can't vouch for its quality.

As for the hi-beam light, that will be covered up as its going to have a wood grain finish

There have been a few developments of the quality of the piece since I began the thread.

Quite honestly, I probably shouldn't have started it
I'll let everybody know more in a few days.

Looks exactly like my JME bezel save for the extra trim.

I seriously think I would like something that made that dash area smooth...maybe Ill just weld some sheetmetal in there and smooth it out and cut gauge holes.

The shelby r-model gauge panel available from many vendors for about $29 does just that.

Here's a pic of it next to a JME setup

Okay, maybe Steve isn't making it, but it looks exactly the same as the one on his site, and he said he'd have them available soon.

You will not want to permanently weld you gauge cluster to the dash. If anything, weld some tabs if necessary and add some stainless allen head screws or something.

You can get a bezel similar to what Dodgestang shows above from http://www.deltabaymustang.com/.
