65 lower grille support

Hi, guys i bought this mustang project and for the life of me i can't see how the lower grille support mounts right above the upper stone deflector. Am i missing some brackets? or what? pics? would help greatly of course. and all of the money spent on restoration manuals are pointless so far. And hard to see. Thanks.

I just pulled mine off last weekend and I don't remember anything that bad other than a bolt that needed some heating after 45 years. You have everything else off in front of it right? Cause I don't think you could sneak it past the bumper if that is still on.

It attaches to one screw on the hood latch support, and to either headlight bucket.

ok

so three screws total. well that seems easier. I will take a look. but now i'm wiring the entire car, so the hadlamp and buckets are all off.

You do understand the headlight buckets, lower grille bar, and grille assembly were installed as one piece?

nope did not know that. hence why pics would of worked.
