66 dash repair...

im currently in the process of purchasing a 66 coupe and the interior needs some tlc, especially the dash. how would i go about repairing a few minor rust spots and minor knicks? any help would be great. thanks!

if it's just surface rust you can sand and then repaint. if it's rusted through, then it's welding time.

I'd sand the whole thing down and repaint.
