I have a '66 convertible and recently replaced the steering column. My problem is that the horn will not stop honking when I reinstall the wheel. This happens when the center horn blow ring is removed from the wheel, and I've checked the two rings inside the steering wheel hub and there is no continuity between them. The blowing starts when I push the wheel on. I'm guessing that one of the horn contacts is touching the wrong ring, but the contacts do not look bent at all. Any ideas? I attached photos of the contacts and ring. Thanks for any help you can give.
