Hello, new member here.

Have a 66 convertible that has just had the ¼ window regulators replaced, and I am having a problem. I used new Scott Drake parts. The window seals well to both the roof and the front window...no problem there. However, when I lower the rear windows (both sides), about 1" of window remains exposed. Before I replaced the regulators, the window completely retracted. Any suggestions on how I can make that last inch of window retract?

Thanks!

They are on the inner part of the body where the window regulator bolts up .They are a single bolt that slides once loosened, the window stop is on the inside .They are probably slid all the way up and need to go down .They are near the bolts for the regulator .There may also be a rubber round block in the slide track all the way at the bottom ,it may be set to high ,it will have one bolt in it as well .loosen the bolt and slide the rubber block down until the window sets where you want it to and tighten it up again .
