Hi all--
I've been doing some reading on the (suicide) single to double Master Cylinder setup. I have a few questions before I attempt this.
I have a double MC already that should drop right in.
I have one line that comes to a T and splits--I assume this is the front discs. I have one line that comes to an adjustable proportioning valve and then dissappears down the firewall under the car. I going out on a limb here and assuming that is the rear line!
My question is on plumbing. Will I keep the proportioning valve? All I should need to do is remove the old MC, bench bleed the new one, bolt it in and bend two new pieces of line--one to the T and one to the proportioning valve? Correct? I've heard some people say I need an adjustable push rod for the pedal and some say I don't.
How hard is it to bend and flare the line? I have no problems buying tools, so that is fine with me!
I may not have learned much, but I finally learned to A) ask questions before you take it off and that B) things that seem easy rarely are.
Thanks all!
