I need your help. Will 65-66 original wheels and style steel wheels fit on 68-73 type front disc brake set-up without interference? I know that the hub will fit through the wheel center openning, but what about caliper interference?

degins, The wheels will fit if you use a 1/4 inch spacer. I have a 67 with the 68 discs brakes and purchased the 67 styled steel wheels which are the basicly the same as the 66 ones. They fit fine until I tightened the lugs, then there was interference with the calipers. The 1/4 inch spacers worked fine. I would also suggest a little longer wheel stud to make sure you have eneough threads when you use the spacer.
