I have a 66 mustang with a 67 289 and 3 spd manual transmission. I need a new clutch, flywheel, and shifter for it and dont know how to identify which tranny it is for ordering parts. any help would be appretiated.

If it was an original V-8 tranny, I'd be willing to bet it's an A303 (aka Toploader 3spd) Look at the transmission on the shifter side - does it have a bolt on cover on the side or on the top?
