67 coupe steering problem

i have a 67 coupe. my problem is when i am driving or sitting still in my car i can turn the wheel a good inch or 2 to the right before it catches and the wheels start to turn. i dont have this problem turning to the left. so this causes alot of over correcting.

could this be a bad steering gear box or a bad steering colum? it is not power steering . and as far as i know original gear box.

and if it is one or the other where is a good place to pick either of the 2 up for a decent price.

I think it's more the box, and you can check with National Parts Depot for one.
