I have my car back from paint and have been reassembling. I'll attempt to attach a few pics. Hopefully they'll make it. I'm not that tech-savvy. Color is Silver Frost; it was a Special Order car (paint color). Came with Exterior Decour Group, foldown rear seat, PS 289C, C4, console. I disassembled it in 1995; I hope to have it together before the snow flies. I'm sure I'll have a few questions as I move forward. I can't upload the pics- my file sizes are too large. What can I do to get them posted?

Sorry, but Silver Frost was not a special order paint for 1967. There were 865 cars painted with this color. Paint code was 4. Paint color is 1901-A

I have a Marti Report verifying this.

Good luck with the assembly, and post some pics when you get a chance.

You're right...partially. Silver Frost was an RPO color in '66 and the VERY EARLY part of the '67 model year. By the time my car was built on 30 Dec 66, it was a special order color. There were problems with oxidation and as your research proves, it wasn't a very popular color so it was discontinued except for those really wanting a silver car. Mine, in fact was a special order car (color); I have the build sheet that proves it, indicating SPEC PAINT M32J 1901A in the Remarks section at the bottom. My car was featured in an article by Tony Popish of the Special Paint Registry in his Summer 1996 volume. Anyway, that's the lesson on Silver Frost. Now can you school me on how to make my digital pics into a smaller file that will fit the requirements of the forum? My file sizes are too big and they won't attach. Thanks...

What OS are you running? If its windows XP, just right click on the picture and click "Resize Picture" and then choose the resolution you want.

If you are not running XP, you can send them to me, and I will resize and send them back.

The most common method is to create an account on photobucket or other image hosting sites, and upload your pictures there. Then you just link your pics to posts on the forums. Most image hosting sites will have the IMG text for each picture available for you to cut and paste into your posts.

If you don't have the resize right-click option (cause I don't and I'm running xp), choose edit, which will open it up in paint, and then select image-->stretch/skew and resize it there. When you save it you will see a drastic reduction in the file size. Something around 600x800 is gonna be your size limit (~75kb).
