I have a 67 Fastback that was converted from an automatic transmission to manual. Problem is, there is no activation for the reverse gear lights (white) and I can't pass the safety check until this is rectified. How do I add an automatically activated switch for reverse gear that will turn on the reverse gear lights? Is there a kit for something like this?

Do you know which manual transmission is in the car?

Sorry, I'm not very mechanically inclined (yet)
All I can tell you at this point is that its 4 speed
If there is something I can look at that would help,
the car is in the driveway

That is probably going to narrow it down.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot of traffic on any of the vintage forums I've joined so getting answers is slow or non-existent. I've had much better luck with the several Mustang groups on Facebook, although the information is a bit more chaotic, at least it's more rapid.

I'd highly recommend shoving a camera (ie. phone) under the car and get as good a picture of the transmission as you can. Some people will be able to recognize it from just a picture.

It bolts to the shifter body ,when you shift into reverse ,the arm on the shifter pushes the plunger and turns on the back up lights.
You will get more smart ass replies on face book usually than helpfull because they are not kept up as well as the forums .
