I'm pretty certain a few of you have put a 67-68 radiator in a 65. How much fabrication is required? Does it require a lot of cutting to fit it? I ask because I'm looking at a Be Cool kit, but they only make the kit starting with 1967. If I can make it work with out a ton of headache, I'd like to. What about the water pump? Thanks.

I got a 67 in my car not hard at all. I had to cut the battery tray a little bit took about a inch off. Then you just drill 4 new holes.

i assume you're talking the 20", not the 24"? (big block or small block)

Anyone know how much better the stock 67+ radiators cool as opposed to the 65/66?

I'm looking to cool a 331 stroker. Be Cool doesn't seem to make a 65-66 specific. Just a 67 on up. So, if it's not to much hassle, I wanted to just go with their 67 kit in my 65 FB.

Good question, does a 67 rad. cool better than a 65-66. I have a 4 core in it right now, but want the aluminum look plus the electric fan. Hence the Be Cool kit.

yea, i almost overheated here this weekend ( NOR CAL ) it was in the 100's and my car was not liking it one bit, even with the heater on i was still going up. so, does this rad fit well without putting the batt in the trunk?? cause i could definatly use some more cooling power and an elec fan..
