the suspension has all been replaced and it has never had any weight besides the body sitting on it, nor has a drop of gas been in the tank.
I have a lowering kit for the rear and the bars, but until I got everything installed and filled the tank and let it sit for a couple weeks to let everything settle, I figured it was pointless to look at the ride stance yet and whether I would have enough room for the lowering kit and the bars.
I have never done a ground up restoration before, so if I am off in this thought process, let me know .
It currently has fifteens in the back and fourteens in the front but these were just to roll it around. I am not sure what size tires I will eventually go with.
the tires, rims, ride height and exhaust are the only things I haven't decided on what to do yet. Which I love only having that to think about now, besides just putting it together.
I got option 5 from that page. Really was a slick deal, sent me the engine, a video of the engine running and all pressures, instructions for the mechanic, if you go that route instead of doing it yourself. All in all, I have no complaints for them, good company.
P.S. Just watch out now for Asian drivers on the road taking pics while they drive, lol.
( I've had a lot of Asian friends over the years, great people but lets face it, most can't drive worth a ****,lol )
I got the grab a trak kit from Mustangs Plus consisting of the following.
620 front coil springs
Performance 4-Leaf Standard Eye Leaf Springs
1” Front Sway Bar
¾” Rear Sway Bar Kit
Front and Rear Shock Absorbers
Polyurethane Coil Spring Insulators
Polyurethane Sway Bar End Link Kits
Polyurethane Sway Bar Frame Bushing Kits
New Leaf Spring Shackles with rubber bushings
I am hoping once I get the weight all on it, including the gas, it will settle down a bit. But just in case, I did buy the lowering kit already so if it doesn't, I will drop the back end a bit.
I really want it to ride level and not have that typical "drop" in the back. Or even a hint of raise in the back would be ok.
