I have a plain 68 grille and I want to install gt fog lights but I don't know were to cut out the grille for the lights. Does anyone have a template or a drawing of the grille section to be removed?

Thanks,

I don't believe the lights fit into the grill but mount in front of it.

They do set into the grille somewhat. The mounting brackets are on the inside of the grille so some of the grille must be removed to mount the lights.

'68 Fog Light Install

What I did was install the brackets first. Make sure you have them in correctly, if you don't, when you hook up the lights, they will point straight down. Anyway, once you have the brackets installed, you can hold up the light to the grill to see where you will need to trim so the lights can sit perfectly. The rivet holes for the brackets are already there from the factory.

I don't have a drawing or diagram, but I do have an actual picture of the fog light grille from my own '68 you can look at. You can count over and down to see where you will need to remove the bars to create the openings for your fog lights.

The spacing on both sides is the same.
