the upper arm, due to the tight space restriction of the exhaust we had to come up with something that would clear everything and still be of the strength we require.

I'm interested in some more details.

Can you post up some more pictures? I'm assuming with the short 3rd link that you retained the back seat?

Looks good so far!

Any pictures of how the three links are mounting to the axle and the uni-body?

This is an In-House Kit that is fabricated and installed in house. Here is the link to the page on our site that has the kit.

http://www.gmachineracing.com/mustang3link.html

The kit comes with a 9" housing, this setup is using a customers 9" and we we will be fabricating the mounts a little differently than the kit. The kit will have welded on lower maounts, this will have a bolt in bracket that bolts to the stock leaf perches.

We are also going to redo the fuel system, to get it ready for a all AL block 427 that puts out about 700 HP. And some other oddball things to tidy up the car for Knotts.

You ask, and you will recieve. Here you go, the back seat is not touched and the stock sheet metal either.

This is the upper link mount and the shock mounts are on the sides.

Here are some more,

Custom valved bilsteins, valved for the corner weight percenteges and the cross weight so that we have them dialed in.

Upper Link mount on the axle, It is 3/16" 4130 that is TIG welded to the housing.

Painted Links

We can also build custom 3-links in any musclecar, so this is not limited to the classic mustangs.

Looks very nice, I might consider this along with your front suspension for my 65GT.

How would the handling be with both setups? Comparable to Griggs?

Will you guys be @ knotts this sunday?
I'll look for you.

very nice design. a few questions;

1: how much?

2: have you thought about using a 1/4 eliptic rear spring and use a less expensive shock(without the coil over system)?

Yeah, we are down to the final stages of R&D for the kits, they are going to be the best on the market. My partner louie has done all the geometry design and i have done the materials and fabrication design. We are looking at getting the best geometry on the market and having the highest quality of construction as well. The CNC Mill is almost up and running so things will get rolling very soon.

Yes we will be at knotts on sunday. Look for the red 68 Stang and we will be wearing G-Machine shirts. We will be there all day.

1. This is an in house install that runs 4500 wiuth a new 9" housing.

2. We have thought about it but im a stickler for perfection. This is actually a downgraded shock than the one i wanted to run, From my nascar days i wanted to use a special Penskee shock that i could valve myself. For this we chose Bilstein and im very happy with the outcome. We have the bilstein custom valved for the specific application with corner weights and cross. The spring rates are another thing that i do interchange to get the optimal setup becausae every car is different, even if they are in theory the "same" car.
