69/70 MT owners, help please

I'm modifying my trans tunnel to fit the tr-3550 in my 66, and I need a shift boot. I've looked at several designs; I think the stock 65-68 boot will be a little too small for what I want, and there are some universal designs out there I could look into, but it looks like the stock 69/70 boot might work. In catalog pictures it looks a bit bigger than the 65-68 boot but it's hard to tell how much.

I was wondering if one of you fine folks could get me the measurements on it? I'm just talking about the stock rubber boot. I need to know outer width and length, and inner if possible. Also collapsed and extended height would be good too. Thanks

The 69 boot is pretty large. Call CJPony and have them measure one. I couldn't find diminsions on any of them. But the 69 boot should cover the hole. I think we used a 69 boot on the 66 coupe we put a TKO 600 in.

The outside perimeter on the '69 boot is 7x5, plus you can add a trim ring around that if you don't have a console.
