69 ford DOOE-B heads, what are they?

i recieved a 74 302 motor for free, when i brought it home and tore it down, i noticed the heads were a 69. so i started looking for the part number and i found DOOE and a few inches beside of that was the letter b, i have tried to find infomation on these 302 heads but i havent found anything yet, thanks:SNSign:

How do you know they're '69 heads? I was under the impression that the only way to know that was BY the casting numbers?

D00E heads are 1970 castings came one 302/351 engines and had 1.84/1.50 valves, I'd say they're close in performance to a set of GT-40 heads, port em and you've got a great set of heads

they are the 351W heads.. good ports, 69 cc chambers, 184/1.55 valves ( as the gt40's) the only issue is that they MIGHT require some work to make them unleaded gas ready!! Hard seats in the exhaust... maybe valve guides... if all that is done... then hell yeah..port the suckers and have some great power!!
