Made the rear conversion brackets myself (9" small bearing) for the modern Cobra 11.65" rotors and calipers. Very nice result.

In front i have original 69 disc brakes (on 70 spindles) and was planning to do those brackets myself too (have 3D CAD + CAM) but keep getting swamped by other work.

The question is: does anyone make the brackets to make a stock disc to 13" Cobra disc conversion? From Steve et al I see for drum spindles only? If anyone knows if the drum brackets can be reworked to fit the disc spindles that would be valuable info too! Thx.

And yes, I could find a set of drum spindles but that would mean taking the front apart and realigning...

ultrastang was working on one for the granada spindles which are pretty much identical to the 69-73 disc spindles with only a hole or two tapped bigger. he was talking about doing different versions for the stang spindles as well since it just means tapping those holes differently.

i don't know if they have made production yet or not but i would definitely ask him.
here's his website. www.ultrastang.com and you can email him from his site or shoot him a PM here.

That's the point: I want to keep the 70 disc spindles and do a bolt on. No realignment etc.

Will PM Ultrastang etc., just wanted to hear if there were obvious options I didn't know about.
Thanks all!
