69 Mustang Tourque Converter & EFI Kit

Hello everyone. I finally purchased my dream car which is a 69 Mustang GT with a 302 V8 and a C4 automatic transmission. The previous owner put a performance cam into the car but I have no idea what kind of cam was put in it. When I come to a stop the car idles super low to the point where it sometimes will die. I took it in and the mechanic told me that it was due to the stock tourque convert not having a high enough stall. He recommended a 2300-2500 stall performance converter to handle the extra load of the performance cam. Does this sound correct and does anyone have any recommendations for a tourque converter? Also I am looking to covert the engine to Fuel Ignition so if anyone has a recommendation for a EFI kit that would be great. Thanks so much!!

Thats exactly what I was referring to. When I come to a stop the engine begins to idle higher right away but only for a few seconds and then idles way down to the point where the engine wants to die. I have a 69 mustang with a C4 automatic so would you be so kind to make a recomendation for the TCI converter?? Thanks so much!!
