The wiring schematic for the 71 fuse block shows a 20amp accessory post. There is open fuse location but only a clip for one end of the fuse. It has switched key-on 12 volts. I need a 5amp switched power source and need to make sure I am not overloading the wiring harness. Any one else using this location? If so did you utilize the existing fuse clip or wire in an inline fuse?

There is a bar that fits into the slot across from the single fuse holder. On one end of the bar is the fuse holder and a stud on the other end. The ring terminals connect to the stud. My wire goes to my seat belt buzzer.

That is good info, much appreciated. Mine has no such bar, I wonder if it ever did and where I can get one.

I bought a mach wiring harness on ebay and had to take the fuseholder from my 71 harness and put it in the mach harness, so it can be done. I have never seen one for sale.
