Anyone know of a place where I might find a good rust free set? Our 73 came with the bumper unattached, now I know why! Part of the old supports was still attached to the frame extensions, the rotted right through. I've tried a few Mustang places, no dice. I found a set, then my computer crashed and I lost the guy's email. By the time I found him again, he sold them. I don't know if we're going to get to drive Eleanor this year, but i we do, I think we hould probably have a front bumper (might even need to for an inspection sticker!).....

Some place sell's fiberglass front bumpers for the 1973's, I lost the website and have been trying to find it ever since, it saves ALOT of weight, something like 75-100lbs. And it was fairly cheap too like under 120 I believe.

Man, I wish I would have known that before we bought a bumper. That wasn't very easy to find either! Too bad the guy we got the bumper off of didn't have a good set of supports.....

I have a Frankenhorse. It's a 73 with a 72 front clip that I might turn into a race car. Someone did a horrid job of mounting the 72 parts on the 73 frame and firewall (rivets and angle iron and cut by blow torch), plus the "don't have a clue what I'm doing" fiberglass work to fix rust. It still has the 73 front bumper which I won't need, looks to be in good shape. E-mail me with what parts you might need.
