75MM Mas air

I have a stock 89 gt mustang. I have a chance to buy a 75 mm mas air meter off of a 93 cobra from a guy for cheap. If i remember rigth cobras came with 24lb injecotrs right?

But I read that Ford factory MAF's are interchangable without calibration and without changing injectors... You may want to look it up. I'll dig for what I read and post it.

Stock 93 Cobra Mass Air Meters were 70mm, not 75. If it is a 75, then it must be aftermarket.

This has trouble written all over it...

Try to get more details on the meter,
The X3Z and A9* computers do not use the same aftermarket MAF 'calibrations'.

If it was properly setup in the 93 Cobra, then it will not work in your 89 (assuming an A9* ecu).


Find out what brand the meter is, AND what injector AND ecu it was cal'd for...
