I went to EZ Lube and I did get a gear lube change. However, I looked under the car myself and I saw something imprinted that says "use 75W90 Synthetic Gear Oil Only" or something of that matter. I wasn't sure if what EZ Lube put in was 75W90 synthetic, but I went to Autobacs recently and saw that all their 75W90 gear lube are all synthetic.

My question would be does 75W90 gear lube only come in synthetic? Or is there such thing as conventional 75W90 gear lube? I'm only asking this because in the store I went to, I saw nothing of conventional 75W90 fluid.

Here some more grades of gear oil. You were reading correctly.
75W90
75W140
80W90
85W140
90

A lot of newer stangs switch to 75w90 but came from the factory with 75w140. I switched over to Royal Purple 75w140. You can use what brand you like.
