can i put a late model 302 crank in my 79 302 engine, i have both 50oz crank and balancer to go on it ,so only thing wordering is the one piece rear main on the late 80's crank, i am awar of the 28oz balance on what is in there now so i know i will have to step up to the 50 oz balance
you will have to have the block and main cap machined to accept the one piece rear main seal, but other than that there are no issues that you havent already taken care of.
