79-86 projector headlights

Its an ebay special....of brand cheaply made pile of chit! :D And you get 2 headlights? Awesome.... 2 of the 4 sweet! So thats like what?.... you have two black lights and 2 stock white ones!? AESOME MAN sign me up.:nice:

Edit: Oh and i like how they have "TOP" written righ ton the headlight... as if those weren't ghey enough!

Meh ... why bother? Sealed beam headlights rock, as-is. They don't yellow out because they're glass instead of plastic, and they generally will put out a lot more light than most OEM plastic Aero lenses will. Plus, if a rock breaks one out on the highway, it only costs between $8 and $15 (depending on what brand/type you prefer) to plug a new one in there, whereas those things are a chunk more.

No lighting gains, questionable looks, eBay quality stigma ... nah. :notnice: I think I'll pass and just get me some Sylvania Xtra Visions for my Pervertible, instead. :nice:

I saw these not long ago and was waiting on someone to mention them. I didn't think they looked too bad. A while back i was looking at a set of halo style for mine but they weren't blacked out like that. I think the black ones on a black car would look amazing.

ya, i didnt think they would look that good. but am still interested in seeing what it looks like. maybe if it was a totally black car theyd look ok. or a red car with black headlight bezels/trim/hood decal.

I have a set of the 7x6 in my 90 GMC Sierra, however they are the chrome ones. Can't really complain as the stock sealed beams sucked on low beam. Running the new setup with cheap 7 dollar bulbs from advanced auto and a cheap ebay relayed headlight harness has really improved night driving. I'm thinking about getting a set of these for my 90 Crown Vic as 3 out of the 4 bulbs are plastic sealed ones. One a side note, you may need to egg out the headlight bucket with some tin snips or dremel.
