I've almost completed the 5.0 install on my 79. After putting fuel in the efi tank the 79 fuel gage isnt working. I checked both the wiring and sender before installing the tank and they both worked. I rechecked the gage and wiring. It's working fine when temp. grounded. Does anyone know the Ohm difference in these? i'm guessing that is my problem? Other than that it's running fine and almost ready to come off the jacks. I've swapped everything out from under a 90 gt and installed it in the 79.

Thanks in advance.

Yes there is a difference in the ohm range for the two senders. You might be able to fix it by swapping the 90 gage itself into the 79 dash. I know the 79 gages unbolt from the cluster individually, but I do not know if a 90 gage will bolt in and fit to the printed circuit terminals.
