79 with V6, how to put a 5.0 in it?

I found a cherry 79 coupe with a V6, runs and drives for $400. I have a carb 5.0L that I just rebuild that I want to put in it. What all do I need to swap it?

Ignition, a V8 K-member, and some long nights getting dirty... Maybe a couple beers. The K member is the big thing. Only the V6 kmember is different then the rest.

I agree. My 79 has a 5.0 efi sitting in it. all of the running gear from a 90 gt fit right in place. fuel tank, fuel lines, master cyl and booster, brake lines ect. not a lot changed in the under carrage area from 79 - 93. You might want to change the rear too. My v6 had a 7.5 under it. If you want to keep the v6 I have an offy 4bbl manifold and mini muscle holley that is already set up for it. The k member is pretty easy to swap. Mark everything and plumb bob the spindles to a mark on the floor to line everything back up. Its a bear to move it once the motor is back in place.

K members are the same. Its the straight 6 that has a different K member.
