8.8 housing help

Ok so im in the middle of aquiring the parts needed to build my rear and i found a new 8.8 housing and was just gonna get that and use that to put all my new parts in and then swap the rears. my ? is that the housing i found was originally equipped with 4 lug axles. Are the housings any different or was it just the axles themselves that were diff. Just want to make sure before i get it. Thanks in advance:SNSign:

86-93 was one axle housing.

94-98 was one axle housing (even though 79-98 axle housings are the same length)

99-04 was one axle. This housing is longer than 79-98 axle housings.

If you have a 94-98 car, then stick with 94-98.

If you have a 99-04 car, then stick with 99-04.
