Say i was just wondering how long it took you guys to get your gears installed. I stoped at a local mechanic and he said he'd need the car for 2 or 3 days. Does that seem a little long? Does to me atleast.

Yeah and notice you're talking about doing it yourself. He's taking it to a shop. For some reason I thought he did his own work...

I had all my cars back in a few hours when I had gears put in. I definatley wouldn't leave an old fox body Mustang anywhere for more than 1 day!!

+1. Fox bodies arent very faithful. For some reason, i have heard they talk like knightrider to mechanics at garages and say " get in buddy! You know you want to beat the ever loving piss out of me"

Lmfao. That's for those that don't do their own work anyway. My car will never see a mechanic.

Well see this is different, i'm in a family business with truck parts and trailer sales and car sales and gas station and we do towing and alot more stuff, and we have a local mechanic who works out of his garage and he comes down to our station and helped me a little with the 5 lug 4 wheel disc brake kit and a few things. We are good friends and i don't want my car to whistle when it goes down the road so i want him to do it, he isn't going to charge me anything either so i have nothing to lose.
