heya guys i havent done much rearend work to my car.

i am doing a turbo project over the winter on my car and have some 3.27 gears i am going to install.

i am needing some links or part numbers for a gear install kit, i AM needing a new pinion seal and crush sleeve also

i'd also like to cure any one wheel peel.

the car will boil one tire sometimes if you dump the clutch at a complete stop. any other time (burnouts, getting on it and spinning) it will spin both then.

r&p install kits

randys ring and pinion has complete ( and I mean COMPLETE) install kits priced right. they have everything youll need for the change and GREAT tech people. No knotheads taking gueses at what you need. Their prices are great too. They have a custom shim kit that beats all Ive ever seen. Randy's Ring & Pinion you wont be disappointed

What does your car have for axles right now? If its still 28's while you have it apart it might be a better idea to step up to at least 31's or better yet 33's. Anywayy I got everything needed for my 8.8 build from artsparts on corral, moser spool and axles c clip elim's, master install kit and a LPW cover for $990 shipped to my door. Now its one less thing I have to worry about, just a thought.

I just rebuilt my 8.8. Except for the pinion, everything is new. I used the Carbon Fiber trac-lok kit from the 03-08 Cobra 8.8 housing. Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-4700-C] It was 115 bucks I think. I'm sure its alot better than the stock style clutches. I also went on Welcome To Moser Engineering and punched in my torque number, first gear and final gear ratio and it tells you the optimum splined axle for your set up. I got a set of 28 spline Moser axles with three inch wheel studs. They tell you to put the smallest axle suitable for your set up for optimum performance. Like a 33 spline axle shouldn't be used in a car that needs a 31 spline axle.
