8.8 Trac Lok Spider Gears??

Since no one else is, I'll step out up with a gut answer instead of an absolutely sure answer.
As a general rule, sticking things in rear ends that don't belong there is a bad idea.
Unless someone will confirm they are the same thickness and will mesh fine, I doubt a different tooth count on the spider gear is a good idea. A new, Ford traction lock differential is available for not a whole lot, and the right tooth count gears should be easy to obtain used.

Sure they're both from a 28 spline 8.8?
