I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells just the boot that covers the grease in the ball joint on the front lower control arms. I busted it trying to remove the spindle and so far the only way to replace it is to get a new ball joint kit ($100) The ball joints are only a year old and are in perfect condition so that is why I only want the boot. Could someone recommend a place that might sell these.

Thanks

Check prothanes website or some other performance bushing manufacturer. For some reason I beleive I spotted a set of grease covers on an aftermarket polyurathane suspension parts manufacturers website.

Thanks for your help. I did a search for Prothane and found the website http://www.suspension.com/mustang.htm that carries them. Only $3.00 for the pair. Now I can finish my project.

New ball joint boots are available in the HELP parts display section of most parts stores. I looked at some in Carquest about 2 hours ago. Make sure you know what size stud hole you need.
