I looked around for the ones that I saw in JC Whitney years ago but couldn't find them.
They were colored lenses but they were colored by a honeycomb inside of the glass. When 'off' they appeared to be whatever color the honeycomb was. When 'on' they looked like normal headlights.
Should have snapped up a complete set and spares when I saw them. It was years ago though.
