The gear drive for the supercharger has a set of gears inside of it that spin the supercharger faster than the crankshaft spins. In my case 1.88 times faster than engine rpm (1.88 step up ratio). As you can see below the belt for the alternator is driven from the supercharger input shaft. Its a little confusing when you try to determine pulley size because you need to factor into the equation blower input shaft rpms instead of engine rpms.

8400 is 15792
so im guessing your spinning the alternator around half speed? which is around what we are at with the turbo car seeing out RPM with a even bigger step down ratio and we are seeing 21v

You guys asked for it and here it is, the Taco Bell run in the 84':
Keep in mind that this is a terribly boring and uneventful trip to Taco Bell. I also suck horribly at video taping this crap... trying to dig a 20$ out of my pocket resulted in me unknowingly stopping the video early. I won't be too sad if I have to go back again today for more tacos!!! It's a 10 minute trip each way to get to our local Taco Bell. The car ran great, stayed nice and cool and the whole trip was absolutely uneventful. More street cruising will happen later today as it is supposed to be BEAutiful outside!

Not really. In all honesty its just a small block windsor, powerglide and 9" rear. The gear drive and exhaust are a little noisy but that's about it. It stays nice and cool driving even with the goofy radiator placement. For having 235lb injectors it has surprisingly good part throttle manners when cruising!
