Yeah it was pretty insane . I don't think I have ever been this proud of a car that I don't own . I get complete satisfaction out of being able to have the opportunity not only to help but to watch you guys progress . Yesterday was one for the books !

Well today went great! @TOOLOW91 came out to crew with us and was a big help in getting the car situated today. We had a great test session and ran the best we've ever done with the current setup. 1.19 60' and 5.16@137 to the 1/8th with the little YSi-b blower. Not only does this put us in the UltraStreet mix, it should put up some 7 second times 1/4 at the World Cup Finals next week.

Obligatory video.... It was great, no other way to put it lol

That would qualify you in the top 10 in 8.5 O/L in Vegas. Low 5.2 in the 1/8 is my goal this year in Vegas. Don't take it wrong, your car is bad ass and has "a lot more in it" so to speak. While my car would peak at a 5.17 1/8 th, yours is just getting started. Nicely done.

Not only do I owe you a huge thanks for the help that you offer, you truly are a member of the team and we appreciate you being there to help and support us! It took a few tries to get things where they needed to be but in the end it's paying off! You even got your first lesson in packing the chute this weekend

Thanks!! As Jeff said, my purse strings aren't big enough to compete in X275 and in order to run Ultra we needed to swap on the YSi. With this weekends performance we can be in the mix for sure!

Thanks! It was a frustrating road to get here but that 1.19 60' sure sealed the deal in making a good hit. I would say 5.0's will not be a stretch as there is still a bit of wiggle in the tune up before we step up the blower drive ratio

A 1.19 60' is my goal as well. I have changed everything on the rear suspension except the lower control arms and ARB in an attempt to maximize that first 60' as I know I don't have as much HP as some of the other contenders. Front end got a lot of attention as well.

I've really done a terrible job in keeping everything up to date here... If there were only a few extra hours each day or maybe an extra day in the week I could actually get some things done! Anyway, the process of putting the new shop up is in full swing. Most if not all of my free time will be spent here over the next month or two getting things in order. I've got some big plans for this garage and I'll do my best to keep things up to date as we move forward.
Progress so far on the new 40x60 shop:

Likewise! They are pouring the walls for the dyno pit tomorrow and should have the rest of the concrete in by next week. I'll have the bathroom plumbing and electric stubbed in to the building tomorrow. Once the concrete is done I can get moving on rough electric, plumbing then insulation.

It's funny you say airplane hanger, lol. The first garage I ever worked out of way back when I was 15 was/still is actually an airplane hanger
I promise that this is smaller than that, it should suffice nicely for all of our shenanigans!

I'm tired as can be after grading 80 tons of dirt today... 120 tons of stone coming Wednesday, that will be great said no one ever lol

So it rained last night... one step forward 3 steps back. The dyno pit is full of water now and for anyone that has ever poured concrete you will know that pouring on top of mud won't fly.... After shoveling the mud out we are on schedule to pour the footings for the dyno tomorrow. 8"s of reinforced concrete as the base topped with 12" poured solid cinder block.

Cleaned up and ready. We built the re bar mat that will be in the floor today, 80 tons of crushed concrete coming tomorrow for a sub base in the garage floor

Bathroom and electric are all stubbed into the building. For the record, I'm not looking forward to digging a 400' trench to get the sewer, water and electric back to this building.... it will all be worth, or at least I keep telling myself this hahaha.

In a conversation with my buddy Scott, it looks like a 8 camera security system is coming my way as well as a 50" to wire up to the dyno
One more day of work and I'll be on vacation... hopefully the concrete is done by the time I get back!
