alright guys this kid wants to race me. I raced him a while back and lost but he basically has a fully built race car im not sure what size the motor is but his last time at the track all motor was an 8.4 on slicks. I think the trap was about 83mph. On juice which i think was a 150 shot he ran a 7.7 at XX.XX he only ran that time once because his second run he sprayed again off the line a crack went the axle. Now i know my stang now wont run those times. But i am getting long tube headers for xmas and a few other goodies.
He wants to run with his nitrous hooked up though and i told him if he wants to run with a power adder then so am I. so my question is what do you guys think i should do to get myself down to these times?

3. I dont think cams will help but i will put that out there anyways I would get vt stage 1s if thats the route i take.
His car is barely street legal it only passes inspection cause his dad owns the shop but its basically a race car. I also know that his car is geared mainly for the 1/8th mile so im taking him down to a 1/4 track cause his car tops out at 110 lol.
So which route do yall think i should take the nitrous would indeed be the cheapest though but we will see if my dad would let me do that. He just doesnt want me blowing up the car. He wants me to keep the original motor in the car so i cant blow her up. Im pretty confident that if i had slicks with the Lts i could probably get my car to a good 8.5 all motor at around 83 based on the times i have now on street tires.
