I bought mine on ebay.

Buy 2
Keep one put up just n case.
It's a real pain if your pump dies and you have to wait to get another shipped.
No need for regulator it's self regulated.

I've yet to have one fail but it makes me feel good to have a extra.

OK thanks. Is it ok if I shoot you a pict to your email and then you can see whats up with it? the box says manual choke but it looks like what you described. Gotta run uptown and get gas. Hurrican C is heading straight for us here in SW florida. just heard on the radio is about a 50% chance the eye is gonna hit right here. Be back in 30 min. Thanks

No offense, but if you don't know the difference between an electric and manual choke you're going to need some help getting that new carb installed and tuned correctly. Bolting the carb on is one thing, but making sure you have the correct power valve, jet sizes, and vaccum secondary spring is another.

Like I said, this is my first carbed car. Im not familiar with them cuz i have always run EFI stuff. Just been doing the mustang thing for about a month. Thats also why I am posting novice questions like the ones above. I am having a friend, also a mech., install and tune the carb. Ill be there to assist in simpler ways, but I mainly wanna watch and learn this stuff. Mainly tuning. So it will be installed and tuned by a guy who has raced stangs since the mid 80s. Costing my zero! However you guys have a wealth of knowledge that Im trying to take in. Im hoping this carb once tuned will be pretty reliable and streetable. From what I have heard it should be. Well, thanks again. Later

mine ran good out of the box other than it sucking my fuel line dry.
After I got that fixed it was gr8t.

I was hanging out at the dyno shop oneday and got offered to run on the dyno free and we finished tuning it in.

However it would have been ok without a dyno tune.
Like said b4 most people just change the sec. spring to let the 4's open alittle sooner or later depending on ur car.

The only issue I've had with these street avengers is I have had to mess with the elect. choke to get it set the way I wanted it.
(out of the box was alittle off on that but it took about 5 mins to fix that. I didn't notice it untill the first cool morning.
